    1. Heat the oven to 200C. Line a baking tray or sheet of foil for easy cleanup.
  2. 2. Slice the sourdough loaf in half lengthwise, or cut it into thick slices without cutting all the way through if you want a pull-apart loaf.

  3. Assemble
    3. Stir the fresh parsley and salt into the garlic butter, then spread the mixture generously over the cut sides and into the slices of the sourdough loaf.
    0.5 cup Garlic butter, 2 tbsp Fresh parsley, 1 pinch Salt
  4. Bake
    4. Place the sourdough loaf on the tray, cut side up, and bake for 10 to 12 minutes until hot and soaked in. For a crisper top, broil for 1 to 2 minutes at the end, watching closely.
  5. Serve
    5. Let the sourdough loaf cool for 2 minutes, then slice and serve warm.
