Make Sauce
1. Add mango puree, lemon juice, and half of the sugar to a small saucepan. Simmer over medium-low heat for 4 to 5 minutes until slightly thickened, then cool until just warm or chilled.
2. Peel or leave the skin on the apple as you like, then finely dice it. Toss the apple with the remaining sugar and let it sit for 5 minutes to lightly macerate.
