  1. Prep Cucumber
    1. Slice the cucumber thinly into rounds or half-moons. Toss with the salt and let sit for 5 minutes, then pat dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture and keep the bowls crisp.

  2. 2. Divide the cucumber slices between two bowls, spreading them in an even layer.
  3. Make Tuna
    3. Drain the tuna well and flake it into a medium bowl. Add the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic powder and black pepper, then stir gently until the tuna is evenly coated and seasoned.
    2 can Canned tuna in water, drained, 1.5 tbsp Soy sauce, 1 tbsp Rice vinegar, 1 tsp Sesame oil, 0.5 tsp Garlic powder, 1 pinch Black pepper (optional)
  4. Assemble
    4. Spoon the seasoned tuna over the cucumber in each bowl. Taste and add a splash more soy sauce or rice vinegar if desired, and serve immediately or chill up to 1 day.
