  1. Marinate
    1. Whisk plain Greek yogurt, water, and hot sauce in a bowl until smooth. Add chicken breast strips, turn to coat, then cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 8 hours.
1.5 lb chicken breast strips, 1 tbsp hot sauce, 0.8 cup plain Greek yogurt, 2 tbsp water
  2. Coating
    2. Preheat the air fryer to 400F. In a shallow bowl, mix all-purpose flour, panko breadcrumbs, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and baking powder.
1 cup all-purpose flour, 1.5 cup panko breadcrumbs, 1 tsp paprika, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp onion powder, 1.2 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp black pepper, 0.5 tsp baking powder
  3. Coat
    3. Lift the chicken breast strips from the yogurt marinade, letting excess drip off well. Coat each piece well in the flour mixture, pressing so the coating sticks.
  4. Air Fry
    4. Arrange the coated chicken breast strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly drizzle or brush with olive oil. Air-fry for 10 to 12 minutes at 400F, flipping halfway, until golden, crisp, and the chicken reaches 165F internally.
    1 tbsp olive oil
  5. Serve
    5. Rest the chicken breast strips for 2 minutes before serving so the coating stays crisp.
