  2. 2. Add the nectarines, sugar, ground cinnamon, and lemon juice to a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 8 to 12 minutes, stirring often and pressing the fruit with a spoon, until thick, glossy, and jammy.

    3. While the jam cooks, lightly butter the brioche and toast it in a skillet or under the broiler until golden on both sides, about 2 to 4 minutes total.
