Toast the Bread
1. Toast the bread slices in a toaster or under the broiler until golden and crisp — a sturdy base keeps the toppings in place and adds a satisfying crunch.
4 slice Thick-cut bread (brioche or sandwich loaf)
2. Spread a generous tablespoon of peanut butter evenly over each slice, all the way to the edges so every bite is flavourful.
4 tbsp Creamy peanut butter
Build the Faces
3. Peel the bananas and slice them into rounds about 5mm thick. Use two larger rounds side-by-side near the top of each slice as eyes, and press a mini chocolate chip into the centre of each banana round as a pupil.
2 piece Banana,
2 tbsp Mini chocolate chips
4. Place a strawberry half, cut-side up and curved-side down, near the bottom of each slice to create a big, cheerful smile. Add a single banana round between the eyes as a little nose.
2 piece Banana,
4 piece Strawberry (garnish, halved for a smile)
Finish & Serve
5. Drizzle a little honey lightly over the finished toast faces for a touch of natural sweetness and shine, then serve immediately.
1 tbsp Honey
