  1. Prepare Bread
    1. Heat the oven to 190C. Place the Soft French stick on a board and slice across it at regular intervals, cutting almost through but not all the way so the loaf stays intact.
    1 piece Soft French stick
  2. 2. Gently open each cut and spread Garlic butter deep into the gaps and over the top of the Soft French stick.
    0.5 cup Garlic butter
  3. Bake
    3. Wrap the Soft French stick loosely in foil and bake for 10 minutes. Open the foil and bake for 5 to 7 minutes more until hot through, lightly crisp on top, and soft inside.
  4. Serve
    4. Sprinkle Fresh parsley over the Soft French stick, then serve warm for pulling apart and sharing.
