Brown the Beef
1. Heat the olive oil in a large 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef, season with the salt and black pepper, and cook for 6-8 minutes, breaking it up and letting it brown well until no pink remains. Spoon off excess fat if there is more than 2 tablespoons.
3. Add the tomato paste, smoked paprika, ground cumin and onion powder. Stir constantly for 1-2 minutes until the paste darkens slightly and the spices smell toasty.
4. Pour in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
0.5 cup Beef broth,
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Cook the Beans
5. Add the green beans and stir to coat in the sauce. Cover and simmer over medium heat for 8-10 minutes, stirring once or twice, until the beans are tender-crisp. Uncover and cook 1-2 minutes more to thicken the sauce.

Finish and Serve
6. Remove from the heat and stir in the apple cider vinegar to brighten the flavors. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top, cover for 2 minutes until melted, then garnish with the parsley and serve straight from the skillet.

1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated,
2 tbsp Fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)
