1. Fill a mixing glass with ice. Add rye whiskey, Campari, sweet vermouth, fresh lemon juice, and black walnut bitters.

0.8 oz Campari,
0.8 oz Sweet vermouth,
0.2 oz Fresh lemon juice,
2 dash Black walnut bitters,
1 cup Ice
2. Stir for 20 to 25 seconds until well chilled and lightly diluted.

3. Strain into a chilled coupe or Nick and Nora glass.
4. Slowly pour blackberry syrup down the inside edge of the glass so it sinks and creates a dark downward streak.
