Getting Started
Download noms from the App Store and sign in using Apple Sign In. Your account will be created automatically on your first login.
noms is currently available on iOS only. We're exploring Android support for the future.
noms is free to use. Basic recipe generation, meal tracking, and discovery are available to everyone.
AI Recipe Generation
Chat with the chef to describe what you're craving, what ingredients you have, or your dietary preferences. The chef generates personalized recipes with correct portions, step-by-step instructions, and real nutrition data.
Yes! All recipes can be edited. When you edit a recipe, we create a new version while preserving the original. You can restore previous versions at any time.
noms matches ingredients against a real nutrition database to calculate values — not guesses from a language model. That said, nutrition values are estimates. For precise nutritional needs, consult a registered dietitian.
Yes — import recipes from URLs, Instagram posts, TikTok videos, or photos of recipe cards. noms extracts the ingredients and instructions automatically into your cookbook.
Meal Tracking & Nutrition
Navigate to the Diary tab and tap the "+" button. You can log recipes from your saved collection, search for foods, or take a photo of your meal for AI-powered logging.
Yes! Go to Profile → Edit Profile. Under the "Health Profile" section, you can set dietary restrictions, allergies, and nutrition goals. The AI will consider these when generating recipes.
Your diary automatically calculates nutritional totals based on logged meals. Tap on any day to see detailed breakdowns of calories, macros, and micronutrients.
Account & Privacy
We use industry-standard encryption and secure cloud storage. Your data is never sold to third parties. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Yes. Go to Profile → Edit Profile, scroll down to the Account section, and select Delete Account. This will permanently delete your data within 30 days.
Data export functionality is coming soon. Contact our support team if you need your data immediately.
Technical Issues
Try force-closing the app and reopening it. Ensure you have a stable internet connection. If the issue persists, try restarting your device or reinstalling the app.
Check that noms has permission to access your photos in Settings → Privacy → Photos. Also ensure you're on a stable Wi-Fi or cellular connection.
